We have decided to go to Coralville for a weekend of boating at the end of June. Some friends from our local river are going to be making the trip with us and hope to see some members there also.7962A577-7D0F-4302-BEA3-E2B427B0424D.jpeg

just spent the weekend there its our #1 choice....our home drome so to speak..... photo in my avatar is taken right across from mehaffy bridge....

Our recent system is to put in at "west overlook" south by dam, HUGE parking lot. We drive all the way north. eat at Bobbers up at scales pointe.. Then we hang in the cove just south of there.

north past scales pointe where the river goes under 218/380 starts to get iffy unless lake is full pool... Tree stumps etc... jets prob ok, me not so much lol should be fine now though.

cool waterfall where Mcbride empties into the reservoir. Fun for the kids to swim up to and climb....

3 sandy spots to stop. beach across from scales pointe... one near the dam, and at sugar bottom.

can get over-busy somedays... it just was this weekend...

enjoy. If were out, Ill wave at ya... eye always open for Yamahas :)
