Looks like ais transceiver will be needed to meet requirements?
If true most are about $1000 at least.
So $1000 for new ais equipment
$500 entry
5 people means $30 x 2 (first 3 are included i believe)
And $100 for fishing permit.
$1660 for me to go to bimini before I even get lodging gas or food.
And that's assuming I can i stall AIS fast enough.

I’m pretty sure the AIS is exempted on boats less than 34’.

No one has mentioned the FDCC before though. That seems like a good way to go for someone like Out On The Reef.

Saw a Broncos Guru vid yesterday on youtube covering most of this. Never made that trip with my own boat, but it always looked amazing.
