Is anyone running these in a 240? If so, what are your thoughts?

The Wetsounds XS650 is one of the few completely marinized coaxial speakers. It is more expensive than many of its 6.5" coaxial competitors but there are valid reasons. This speaker has real value even at a higher cost. Coated tinsel leads, synthetic spider, encased magnet, composite frame, rubber surround, etc. Each of these individual attributes plus others have important benefits.
The XS650 has a grill-bridge-mounted tweeter so there is no tweeter post from the center pole piece. This means the midbass cone is continuous for more radiating surface area and the voice coil gap is sealed.
The WS XS650 has great power handling, great midbass and are very dynamic when correctly powered, and like other premium speakers require you have more power than a standard head unit.
The top end is a little accentuated which adds an element of distinction to upper highs and treble harmonics. This extra bit of high frequency edge is usually welcomed when underway and competing against movement, wind and noise.
It's definitely a "Rock and Roll" speaker.

I have them in my 21 foot sea doo. Adding a another pair to the swim deck this year. Definitely an awesome speaker.. A real clean sound. A little bright but that's a good thing to cut through the wind when your under way.
