Tilt Mechanism rebuild

Hi Folks, hoping someone can help me out. I was rebuilding the tilt mechanism on a 2004 Yamaha AR230 when the back two maneuverable flanges (image below of a similar unit) fell out and I don't know how to get them back in. How do they fit around the two arched units? I've been searching everywhere!
