texoma gathering 12 Aug NOW on Aug 26th And NOW will be the 19th

Sorry folks for having to do this, This is the last time I try a Double meet on Texoma, Never Again. I had a situation come up from last night till this morning, nothing bad but I have to attend on the 26th, I have to work the 19th for at least a half day and then Traci and I will be out to where ever and with who ever is attending, Please accept my apologies for so many changes. I know I am a horrible sponser for the gatherings and I will not try to hoist again.

I was going to clean my gutters that weekend. Dam. Tough decision.

We can't do the 19th because the kids start back to school on the 21st. We'll most likely NEED a lake weekend come the 26th though. So unless something changes we should be around this weekend and in 2 weeks.

I moved a couple of those rocks and some Ancient Indian Spirits came out to dance, Then it started raining

We tried to make it out. We had a late start. By the time we were ready to go out, the rain kept us at the dock.

We were out on the water for maybe a total of 3.5 hours on Saturday. We were at Treasure for maybe an hour and a half and we then moved over to Wood when some friends came and got us. It didn't seem that we were there all that long and saw the storm clouds rolling in. Looked at the radar and decided it was time to go in. We started to get sprinkled on waiting for the slot on the ramp. We got the boat put in storage before the heavens opened up. I got her wiped down and dryed off and we packed up our stuff at our friends dock and went home. We were at the lake for less then 24 hours. We sure miss our big boat.
