Spring is upon us and I think the weather is getting nice outside, Maybe it is time to start discussing a spring cruise now. I am game for whenever after Easter. That is when the wife has given me the ok to pull "Our Piece of Ship" out of the garage. I will have to do oil changes and get the keel guard on but I think there will be plenty of time to get the boat ready if we decide on a date.

What does May 3rd or 9th look like for everyone?

May 3rd Ryan has a doctors appointment at 9 a.m. We could do it that day but it has to be around 11 or alittle later.I'm assuming you meant May 10th because May 9th is a Friday. May 10th we have no plans. let's just hope when we do the cruise that there's no debris

Yes I stand corrected Matt, May 10th. We will just have to do the 5 D's on the river : Dodge , dive, duck , dip, and dodge.

:beaver:

Last time we went up the Illinois river to a cafe, and I think this time we are going to go to another restaurant but going thru the locks. Should be a fun trip. We ended the trip last year with some sand bar action!!

I would love to join you guys! Right now either day would work but the 10th might be best; I still have to de-winterize the boat...

Sounds fantastic!! The more the merrier and our group feels like a big family to me and the wife. Super fun people to hang out with and enjoy the summer, and winter for that fact.

Where does everyone usually meet up? At the marina under the Clark bridge?

We all usually put in at eagles landing marina. Except Jay which has his boat on a dock at a different marina.

@sstegh, I made an album of last year's fall cruise. it's in the media section it's called a fall cruise 10/19/2013. check it out if you haven't already. If you hang out with us more than likely you're going to turn into a river rat I'm just saying.
