Since a lot of knowledge has seemed to have left (or been banned from)the other forum I figured I would ask this as my first post here. Has 71 views and no posts. I pulled my impellers in my 2012 SX210 to find they are the same on both sides, the starboard part number(6S8-R1321-10-00). Just wondering if anyone else has pulled theirs to find the same. The 2012 212 boats come with same impellers port and starboard, just wonderring if with the hull change yamaha changed the 210's also.

I would say no but I don't know for sure. The 210 motors turn... what 7-8K direct drive. I think the 212 have the HO motors that go to 10K and have a gear reduction. But on second thought the gear reduction would make it about the same. So I really don't know but it got me thinking.

My 2006 has the same ones, I dont reall feel its an issue. Or maybe since it was like this day one I dont know how it should be

My 2008 has different port and starboard

From the Yamaha parts look up the 212's are the only boats with the same impellers. You should have a 6S8-R1321-10-00 starboard and a 6S8-R1321-02-00 port

Just to add to this I changed both impellers to the port side part which has an 18 pitch over the 15 of the starboard. Makes a huge difference in top speed. I went from 39 mph to 43(gps). Also the cruising is much closer to the boattest.com results. I also gained 1 mph in no wake mode. I like it this way, a little less hole shot but a lot quieter cruising a lower rpm at any given speed.

Really.. did you go Solas or buy from Yamaha stock? Gained 10% top end? You say slower hole shot. How much slower?
Any other noticeable performance or "seat of pants" feel?
I would love to get 4 more mph..

stock Yamaha parts. 6S8-R1321-02-00. it just takes it longer to build RPMs then they run at an even 8000. the last few mph 37-43 on the top end take it a while to get there.
