2 weeks and counting. Getting really excited to come over and visit @Boat Crazy and do some camping and catching up. Also really excited to finally get you out on your new surf board behind the boat. Hopefully Cindy's ankle is up to the trip.

Not wanting to wish my time away, but it cannot come soon enough. Greatly looking forward to that weekend.

What part of Pomme are you two going to be on??

We will be staying at Hermitage State Park. It is located by the island and the dam, but will most likely be all over the lake. @Jim Robeson your welcome to join us.

@Jim Robeson that would be great to meet up with you Jim!

  • No need to bring your boat. We will have plenty of room with two boats.

Oh yeah plenty of room. Of course I know it isn't the same without your own boat though...lol

Thanks for the invite fellas!! I will definitely see what we can work out and would really like to meet you too!!

We may try to meet you on the lake too. Not trying to invite myself but you know how it is, nice folks and a lake, how can I not?

GoogleEarth_Image.jpeg @sstegh, @Jim Robeson, @jcyamaharider. Most welcome @sstegh. The more the merrier. If you plan on camping you may want to make reservations, although with it not being a holiday, you should be able to find a spot. This is an earth view of the spot we will be in. I was going to e-mail it to Jerry but I decided to post here for others that may be interested. As it gets closer, I can PM my cell # to interested parties to insure a link up. The below picture is from the campsite we will be in. Directly to the right and behind the RV is the island and behind that is the Dam.IMG_1560.JPG

All I have is a tent... Are you guys bringing a trailer?

Cindy and I will be in the fifth wheel, Jerry and family will be in a tent on our campsite. I posted a third picture of the site. In the background is my boat and RV.

Fantastic!!! I have Scotts number already Gary so I have that covered.

What days will you guys be there? We wouldn't be able to get there until friday night but we coild stay a couple nights.

I will be arriving around 1:00 Friday, set up camper and then pick up my boat at storage down the road. I think Jerry is getting there early to explore the lake ( his first time on this lake). I added you to the conversation on this topic. We will be leaving Sunday. Just not sure the time.

We will be there Friday like Gary said.

I doubt that we would camp. The one and only time that I took my wife camping was when we both were just dating...22 years ago! Her idea of roughing it is not having a place to blow dry your hair. :). She's a great person, just not much of a camper. Are the dates June 14 and 15?

Arriving afternoon/evening of the 13th, depart 15th. I think it is about 1 hr drive for you. Suspect we will be on the water most of the day Saturday. Oh, we do have electricity and a hair dryer. (LOL)

Jim - there are Yurts you can rent across the lake and they have electricity, refrigerator, air conditioning, and beds. I think they are 58 a night with a 2 night min. You can see what they look like on the parks website.
