Fall cruise on the Mississippi river Alton pool

I opt for the 25th but don't let that hold all of you from a different day

Will you be able to make the 18th?

I just checked the weather for next Saturday high of 66 low 43 and sunny hopefully it stays like that

Did some auto maintenance this weekend to get ready for the last cruise of the year and ran into a few issues. Changing plugs on a 2006 F-150 with the 3 valve motor is not fun....do not do it unless you 1. know what you are doing or 2. like a challenge. Me...I am the challenge person. I always wrench on my own stuff and am mechanical inclined so I thought no big deal. Welp lets just say they are done but that was the most expensive plug change I have ever done. 4 of them broke off down in the cylinder and I had to rush out and buy a tool to get them out. Luckily they make a tool just for this..LOL

Got the truck done then it was time to fix my trailer light issue on my driver brake/turn signal light.....bulb...nope....my dumba$$ jacked the boat up with my jack to get the water to drain and guess what.....yep pinched those wires. So I found it after about an hour and running wire from the truck direct to the light to find it was ok. Atleast it is done now and I am ready for this weekend.

My buddy Rich is going to cruse with us also in his boat !!! Going to be a good time !!

I was wondering if they were going that is great ! Should be a good good time and a sad day all in one !

tim from my work is also going with his boat. I also have 2 other people riding with me.

Are we doing a sandbar fire this year? I probably won't be surfing....too cold!!

I believe so !! I'm in

Stand back....I'lll bring some wood!!!!! :p :beaver: :p

Where is everyone launching from, and what time?

I would love to say 10...but more then likely 11 for us. Being an hour and a half drive things never work out. Eagles if the water is low enough.

Yeah I would agree with Jerry it will be 10:30 to 11:00 timeframe for us.

10:30 ish to 11 sounds good to me
