Has anyone replaced the speakers in these boats that used the same screw holes as the originals? I hate making new holes, plugging old ones etc. Bought a set and they are not the same.

My 2008 sx230 was the same basic boat as yours. The stock speakers are "Seaworthy" brand... and are complete garbage.
Many here, including me, replaced those with Polk DB651 speakers which are exact drop-in replacements. Search this site and your should find a few writeups.
