Comm Error

I'm getting a comm error where my connext starts beeping. I have to cancel the alarm then I have no speed or depth measurements. Anyone had a similar issue?

Most likely suspect is your depth finder went bad. I believe the depth finder is now available, and if you search this forum, there's a good procedure for replacing it with a non OEM version.

Other things you may want to check is the charge of your batteries. Yamaha electrical systems are sensitive to voltage issues, so make sure your batteries are fully charged. Once they are, you can cycle your engine on/off 3-5x to see if it clears the error.
