Can the Bimini be removed and washed to get these stains out?

Sometimes a good canvass cleaner and scrub brush work OK.
Then water proof it .
I've personally never heard of taking it off and then cleaning , but I'm sure someone who also has one will know better.

Never done it, but I'm about to. Yours looks much better than mine does. Lots of humidity down here, so I am getting lots of mildew on mine. I know I can try bleach, but I expect that will quickly lead to a shredded top...

Did mine yesterday, layed out on the driveway. Simple Green, light scrubbing and rinse. Looks new again. Had the same whitish stains on it

On my old boat I took the old bimini off/apart. Took the fabric and soaked it in the bathtub with some dreft laundry detergent. Let it soak for 24 hours. Kinda scrubbed it together with my hands. Water was filthy when I drained it.
