I am getting a good deal on a 2004 seafox 257 (26 footer) with 70 hours on twin outboards and seriously considering it for next year Bahamas. Any one have an idea on these boats? It has a 150 gallon gas tank and would be an ideal long range boat for exumas. Thanks.

Sea fox seems to be a good low/midrange brand. My research put it about like a Sea Hunt, Nauticstar, maybe Mako.

Seafox is a good boat for the price, but i would go for a better qualittle CC is i was in the hunt for one, like mentioned above seahunt robalo mako cobia
A Commander 265 at the show last year was $98k with twins 150 or 200

I am getting the seafox for 22k and it is barely used. 70 hours in fresh water. So tempted by the price.

You probably ran across this review, reasonably close in year:

The author mentions mid-$30k “new” purchase costs, so now 15-years later, I am not sure $22k is a steal unless it is more fully optioned out with robust fishing gear, newer electronics and the optional T-Top.

I have never owned a center console, but I am framing a purchase in the near future, so doing some research and as has been indicated, Seafox seems to focus on the

I think the market is the market for these. CC’s are the hot ticket and so a barely used 26’ for 22k really can’t be beat as long as everything is as it should be. You can’t touch a 26’ with twins new for less than 100k, this was a big reason I’m in a Yamaha lol.

Agree with the above. While I think the money that basic CCs are commanding is absolutely nuts, they're the hot ticket these days. A barely broken in 26' boat with twins will move in a heartbeat at 22K. Seafox isn't really high on the pedigree, but if the boat has been taken care of and the motors not neglected, it should be a solid boat that gets you where you point it without any frills.
