Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
We were one of the unlucky ones that lost everything on the U dock fire in July. We just recently purchased another cruiser that we currently dock on D. We will most likely move to the new U when it is complete.
@PEARCE It was a tragedy what happened to U dock. I knew some of the people that lost everything. We have probably met before.
Actually, I was at a fish fry on D dock yesterday.
Yep, we were there! We're the one that had the net fence up to keep our white lab from mingling with the party. We're 2 slips over from Sam and Kristi. Next time you're in the neighborhood please stop by.
I thought about taking our new to us cruiser out on Sunday till I got a good look out to the lake and saw the wind. Getting in and out of the slip is my only worry in the wind. Not used to our new toy yet since we haven't had it out on our own yet. A windy day is not a day to practice dock maneuvers in a 40 footer!

We've only been out on it once when we went with the broker on the seatrial before we bought it. We stayed on it for the first time this past Saturday. If get up there and the wind isn't terrible we may try and go out this weekend. Here's a pic of our new joy!
