I have a gt207 and want to add a battery. I'm a little nervous about drilling the 4 holes for the screws to mount the battery tray. Has anyone else added a battery in a 207 or similar glastron? If so, where did you put it? I am thinking to put it on the drivers side directly across from the original. I have stainless screws that will go about 1/2 inch into the boat, I know to drill pilot holes before the screws. Will the fiberglass hold? Do i need anchors of some sort?
