The boat has ran great the last few times we had it out. 2010 212x with around 200 hours. The boat has a perfect maintenance record, probably more than is needed. Plugs are less than a year old and oil is fresh and full

Today on the way out to deeper water we skimmed the bottom. Not enough to slow us down from wake mode but enough to hear the rocks…

Did not appear anything was sucked up that got stuck. First time I accelerated I noticed a loud noise from the port engine at above idle speeds. Limped back with one engine. Both sides are 100% clear from debris. Cleanouts are clean i got under the boat and can see right out the intake

Any idea what could have happened? Maybe the shallow water was just an unrelated coincidence. I have attached a short video to see if anyone mechanic types recognizes the issue right away on the FB groups. It won’t post here. I’m going to have a local jet boat mechanic look at it over the weekend.

Thanks!

no video but it is probably a rock or shell stuck between the impeller blades it is hard to see that

cool glad you have it all set again
