Fill and Grass Leveling Yard For Boat Shed

Just above the trees, in a curve, the soil starts to wash out. Roots are showing closer to the trees. Grade slope is good and then it drops and flattens beyond the trees
I had this issue for a few seasons. Tried new top soil, erosion blankets, etc and nothing worked. Last year, I ended up tilling the impacted area up, removed an inch of soil and replaced with a 1/2 inch of soil and new sod and my problem was solved. If you try this way, try and get sod from a sod farm. My experience with sod from big box stores has not been favorable.
