[USERGROUP=9]@HELP[/USERGROUP], last time this was used only 10 emails went out but we all got alerts. I am testing to see if this is normal behavior.
 
I received the tag in my alerts section of the website. I did not receive an email
 
I got an alert, but no email. I do not have "Receive email when name is mentioned" checked, but all others are checked.
 
As expected the test alerted everyone in the group by only sent 10 emails.
 
Sounds like something that might be in the XenForo configuration?

Unfortunately I can not find it in the configuration. I wanted to confirm before asking Xenforo for assistance.

Hopefully we won't have to make several help lists with 10 members in each... Help1, Help2, Help3, etc. :p
 
nice to add a text option in futue for @ helps. I would only see email or site notification if I went to either. If I got a text that there was an @ help we could respond quicker especially if most of us is on the water. I wouldn't mind a text notification if ever avail. I have unlimited. Some may not want. Just a thought....

I got the alert. But I'm set up to only get emails for conversations. So I don't think I'd get an email anyway.
 
Not everyone has email turned on (I don't), so it wouldn't send as many emails as alerts

True but several members have contacted me saying that they have not been receiving the help emails when they have their setting set to do so.

I have email turned on and did not get email. I just checked again to be sure. Just getting responses via email etc.
 
I changed the setting "Receive email when name is mentioned" found under the contact details section of the profile settings. I received an email and alert after changing this.
