I’ve read a few posts reference water not draining from the ski compartment. Does anyone know where this locker drains to? The boat is currently in the water and I checked the ski locker after some heavy rain and it’s collecting water that I can’t get out. Attached is a pic of the drain hole. I stuck a screw driver in the drain to see if maybe there’s a clog, but it only goes down a couple inches and didn’t notice any change.

The ski locker drains into the fuel tank compartment. Fuel tank compartment drains into engine compartment. All of it drains into the bottom of the boat and back to the bilge/transom plug.

Unfortunately, when the boat is in the water, the lowest point is not the bilge pump area in the engine compartment.

One method of draining is to open all the compartment plugs and go for a slow, bow up ride, and turn your bilge on.

Thank you! I’ll be driving it back to my storage area tomorrow. I only saw one removable plug in the engine compartment. Do I need to remove that to get water to drain into that area?

Whatever you do, do not use a drill to try and clear the drain hole!!!

The fuel tank secondary containment has a plug on bulk head, usually in the engine bay. Pull that plug and see what happens, that may allow the water to drain into the bilge area.

I removed that plug at the bulk head, but nothing came out and it appears completely dry.

Yeah, take out all the plugs you can find (except the transom!) I have two plugs in the engine compartment, bow side of that compartment and one plug in the ski locker.

Most likely because the boat is on the water and not tilted enough to get water out of there.

As most said, as soon as I got under power and the bow came up, the water in the ski locker drained. I did not have to remove any plugs in the engine compartment.
