Going on vacation tomorrow and just looking for some assurance since I have s start go out last year and couldn't use my boat. So I cranked my boat today hooked up to the hose a one impeller seemed to make a scraping Noise til the water was turned on. Other impeller didn't make that sound. What do you think ?

I did look underneath and it is clear and surprisingly no silicone was missing

The impellers are really noisy when you run on the hose.

That's common. If your motor was hard to start or lost propulsion I would worry. You are hearing vibrations ---- dunk her in the water and have fun.

My 240 had a loose battery connection that caused the engines to run like rocks in a paint can.

Yeah, the impellers (not props) will scrape a bit, but once in the water, the pressure centers everything out just fine. If you had a bent shaft or something, then you would have a horrid vibration and would know it right away. The bit of scraping is no big deal.
