Greetings from Gulf Coast Texas! Possible soon to be boat owner pending financing. Initially I was targeting a 222 FSH Sport, but after inspecting the boats today I realized its more boat than I want to get involved with. Been reading for a while and appreciate the shared knowledge. Lots of learning still to do but ready to get going!

Welcome!

Hey, I know some people on the Gulf Coast of Texas... wife, kids... neighbors...

Gotta admit I don't think I have ever heard anyone say on inspection that they want a smaller boat. When I was considering my AR210 purchase, a buddy of mine who was a boating veteran went over all of my factors, issues, considerations, etc. Went over where to store it, what lines and other things to buy. And before we parted, he offered me one more thing: Oh, and you should get the 240.

I was devastated. That was significantly more coin. 2x engines vs 1x. No way the wife would go for that. But, you can check the profile to the left to learn the rest of the story. Never regretted that decision and thankful for my buddy.

Yeah you got me second guessing now. Really liked the 222 fsh and it’s certainly a more capable boat.

Ha! Yes, plusses and minuses both ways. And no 'right' answer. But lots of comments to consider along the way...

No go on 195 fsh sport. Disappointing but financing was no where remotely close to the promotional 3.49% for 72 months offered on Yamaha’s website currently.
