Looking for help on diagnosing a ticking sound in my new to me 2017 four stroke Mercury 60/40 outboard jet. The ticking occurs throughout the rpm range from idle to w/o throttle. Sounds like it’s in the “lower unit” jet pump area. I’ve included a video of it. Thanks guys.

sounds like the impeller hitting the pump liner run it on the hose out of the water and see if you can pinpoint the source of the noise
