Wife and I just booked a condo for that weekend and wondering if anyone will be on this beautiful lake during that time? If so let us know and we will try and meet up! If you've never been to this lake you owe it to yourself to at least visit it sometime.

I plan on going to the lake this upcoming weekend, but I’ve already made reservations at wind creek state park for August 30-Sept 2.

Cool maybe I will see you there. I'd love for my parents to take their camper to wind creek but the 7 day minimum stay from March-Oct kills it for them. Wished they would just require a minimum 3 day stay like most places.

I think the seven day minimum is for waterfront lots and online reservations. My wife reserved two camp sites for four days by calling, but they’re not waterfront. We stayed there last month from June 22-29th. The guy camping next to me told me that if you don’t put something on the site that someone can bump you. Even if you had reservations. I saw a lot of tents being used to hold sites. I know when we made those seven day reservations there was only two waterfront sites available online back in January. Once we were there, there was many waterfront sites that no one was on. I also talked to on guy who drove past my site. He had a site in the middle and wind creek let him drive around to find a vacant waterfront site.

So I’m hoping to do the same Labor Day weekend, if not at least we’ll have sewer hook up.

We will be at Wind Creek on Aug 23 -25. 1 week early!

Coming up on our vacation this weekend and can’t wait! I see the owner of our condo took some new photos of the rental. Inside looks great but man the views we will have outside are going to be so worth the wait! We have great weather this weekend too.
