We seem to be a fairly techie crowd with gadgets and gizmos aplenty.

Has there been any thought to adding a separate Electronics forum to collect and organize the various chartplotter/fishfinder, stereo/speaker/amp, LED upgrades thread that are floating in the forum?

That is a great idea!

It was considered. Like all the forums, it branches from the general discussion and separate boat forums, but too many makes it hard to navigate. We are still growing and considering the structure however.

As long as you log in multiple times per day, every day, and read every post, it's easy (except on the wallet).

Awesome, thanks Julian Mel and Team for making this happen! Mel, I agree with you, I don't want to see too many sub forums. I'm an administrator at another vehicle forum and I am frequently tasked to maintain forum structure. It's is burdensome to administer so many sub forums and confusing for the users who are unsure of where to post. Small but planned and discussed tweaks like this SHOULD help keep it all organized and the relevant threads on top!
