Anybody knows the size of a carport needed for a 2016 242 LS with the tower on? Need to get a quote and vendors keep asking me for those measurements.
Thanks,
my 2019 brochure says the 242 LIMITED S is:
height on trailer tower up = 10'-8" (e-series is 10'-11")
height on trailer tower folded = 8'-6"
length on trailer = 25'
length on trailer folded tongue = 23'-9"
my trailer is 8'-6" wide
if you have any notions of upgrading to the newer hull...
255xd is:
11' tall
26'-3" long..24'-8" folded tongue
without seeing your space/driveway egress, i'd think you'd want at least a 10' wide x 25' long x 11' high (in the clear), and go up from there....more room around is always better.
my boat parks in a 19' x 26' carport that has a 10' clg, but the bottom of the beam at the entry is only 9', so i have to lower the tower each time i go in.
