I did some upgrades that I seen here on the forum.
Fulton 2 speed winch
Fulton dual wheel Jack
Bow tie down strap
Absolutely love them all
Bought a shrink wrap zipper door to work on stuff inside boat.
Also moving the battery switch under the seat (don't like pulling seat off to get too switch) to just outside of engine compartment, still working on that, got half of foot of snow the other day. I will have Pics on that soon.

Interesting, I've purchased and plan on doing the following to my 2015 165:

- BoatBuckles on the trailer for the back
- Trailer guide posts with LED lighting on the tops
- Spare tire to be mounted on trailer
- Removing the current crappy stereo system and replacing it with a better one (not an audiophile, but want something better). For this I have a bluetooth amplifier (no radio functions, etc. just simple bluetooth, 500W 4 channel amp), and 4 100W RMS speakers (200W peak) that I'll be installing.
- Where the stereo used to be (side of the console), I'll be installing a hatch to mimic what is being done on the more recent models.
- USB port on the console
- SP200 SonarPhone, I'll be trying to install it in hull instead of outside the hull.
- Decided to buy new cup holders with drain holes. Planning on installing tubes to drain swim platform ones away from the engine.

Once I've done everything in the spring (May?), I'll probably post how it all went in case others are interested.

Aren't mods fun? lol I'll let you know when I get to doing all of this...

I'm surprised that people say don't like the stereo , me,my wife and friends think it sounds great! I don't like it in the glove box!

Sorry, I should have mentioned that the stereo that was installed was NOT the one from Scarab. They just had a cheap stereo installed with very crappy speakers. Hence why I'm replacing it. Mine is on the side of the console which isn't easily accessible from the driving spot. So this new one will have controls installed where it should have been in the first place.

Ok,
Yes mods are fun!
Wife is mad! She says I send more time and money on the boat than her!!!!
But I tell her it's all for her to have a better boating experience

I do have 6 speakers, 2 tower speakers, and amp from scarab. It jams

Yes, but you won't have a "better wife experience" ;)

Im good , She loves the boat!
Actually she couldn't move the trailer around or winch it up and now she can!!!!

Yeah, I only had 2 speakers, no amp at all (each 30W RMS, 60W peak). So looking forward to replacing it.

Making her work too? Bold move! ;)

Forgot I just installed some scuff pads so when I put the seats back seat guides don't scratch the gel coat

Her and my daughter's use it all the time and I don't have to be around.

I won't let San Diego weather hold me back either! Yesterday I was pressure testing the oil cooler outside at night wearing a t shirt.

Now that wasn't nice !:(
I wish winter was that warm here.

Thanks I feel better now.
Post your upgrades when you're done

Brr. My "upgrade" is going to be a boat that runs! I cleaned the 4 throttle bodies really well and ohm'd out the injectors.

I was sitting outside the high-school picking up John from wrestling tonight. The flag was about ready to snap off the flag pole

and the temperature was a balmy 4 degrees F and dropping.

So sitting there with the engine idling just to not die of hypothermia in my vehicle, I came to a conclusion: Florida doesn't sound so bad. I decided that I'm willing to abandon the Midwest and move south under one condition: Any time something venomous, hairy, scaly, or larger than a golf-ball with legs gets within 50' of my home, Jeff ( @Cobra Jet Steering LLC ) has to drop whatever he is doing, come to my house, and smash the aforementioned "something."

If we can get that arrangement set up, I might just pack my bags.

We don't have those things here
