Any 19 footers out there have any experience with the Viper from cobra jet steering?

I would also like to know more about the how the viper works on our 19ft boats. I am particularly interested in higher speed handling and control. The price of $160 + shopping is not crazy expense but would suck if this does not really make a difference in the performance of the boat.

How is the overall performance? Does the ride surface help with better holeshot & quicker planningI have the Viper steering. Major difference in performance. Love it! No issues on swim deck or with tubers.

I've had frustrating days on the water with no slow speed steering. Getting the boat on the trailer has been stressful. Hoping the viper will help out. Just ordered it for the non keel boat I have a 2015 AR190I think it's better, however my reason for getting it was better handling at slow speeds so I wasn't really gauging how well it performed out of the hole as a reference point. I do believe it get's up on plane quicker now, but that could be just in mind.![]()
Thanks Jeff! Can't wait to install it & put it to use!
